Top Tips to engage in learning

During these unprecedented times we are concerned about children visiting lots of different sites to access curriculum based activities. Please be aware that there will be bogus sites out there that will ask your child to sign in. Encourage your child to access the sites that have been uploaded to the Home Learning  page or preferably monitor their internet access.

Online Safety for Children and messages for Parents

Please find below links to sites where you will be able to find activities for your child/children to complete during their time at home. Should you have any queries about anything please email tracy.blackwell@hartington.derbyshire.sch.uk and we will endeavor to answer your questions as soon as possible. You will be notified via the web site/text/email when the school is to re-open. At this time we are unsure as to when this will be. satsbootcamp        Y4 to Y6        Go to the log in page where you can log in with your child’s username and password.  The site will allow your child to access Literacy and Numeracy revision, SAT’s tests in Maths (arithmetic and reasoning) English (spelling, SPAG and reading).  Although this is for year 6 pupils Y4 and Y5 can access and have a go!

BBC Bitesize        Y1 to Y6          This link will take you to the home page, click on Primary then England and either KS1 or KS2 to access activities from every part of the curriculum.
