World Book Day 2025

World Book Day has come around again and the school has once again risen to the challenge of choosing a favourite story and character. When the doors opened this morning a host of storybook heroes and heroines entered the school with their chosen books. These individuals ranged from dinosaurs to wizards, unicorns to Gangsta Grannies, Thomas the tank Engine to Where’s Wally? And so many more as the photos will testify to.

Reading is so important as it is one of the magical gateways to learning and can transport you to so many wonderful places both fact and fiction.

The whole school school did a version of Where’s Wally? on Monday and our very own Wally did a great job of hiding!
