St Francis of Assisi

When asked to plan, write, produce then direct a show about Saint Francis of Assisi, our year six pupil who is a part of the ‘Worship Team’, showed no hesitation or apprehension. She just smiled broadly and just replied, ‘Yes I’d love to’. Once she had written her script, she gathered her ‘troops’ together and slowly but successfully her ideas and vision came to fruition, culminating in a live performance in front of the entire school.

You could hear a ‘pin drop’ throughout the performance which ended in tumultuous applause from the audience.  She had carefully crafted together the story, from which the school was to evaluate its meaning answering the question, ‘What is this story trying to teach us about God’s world?’

This success has now bought her creative talents to the forefront and has inspired her hopes to go on to write and plan other Bible stories.  We all look forward to these events with eager anticipation.

Well done you are an inspiration to everyone!
