Macmillan Coffee Morning

Join our Coffee Morning communityThe Macmillan Coffee event falls on Friday 25th September and due to the present Covid-19 pandemic, school will be unable to open its doors to the community for the annual event of coffee and cake. So we came up with a plan with the staff and children along with friends of the school.

Historically the school has worked in close partnership with a respected member of the community, organising and raising funds for this worthwhile charity, but despite her passing away earlier in the year, she remains central to this fundraiser.

To ensure the whole community sits down together to take part in this event the children have written invitations and letters of thanks to all who have agreed to take part in this school event. Mrs Broomhead MBE is working in partnership with the school acting as liaison to ensure its success.  The schools catering officer Mrs Stubbs has organised the baking of cakes, which will placed into individual boxes  in unison with a tea bag, milk and  sugar.  At the designated time of 2:45 we will all sit down and take part in our Macmillan event.

Any donations made by parents of the children will be delivered directly to the school. Where as donations made by the community can be paid in at the post office. All donations made as part of this event will be sent in memory of this much loved member of the community.
