On Saturday 18th November the children and staff took part in the British Heart Foundation Sponsored Swim at the Arc in Matlock to raise funds for the appeal.
This is an annual event that the school has supported for many years due to a local gentlemen Mr John Dean who is a governor of the school and attends every week to listen to the children read.
The challenge is to swim 50 lengths and pupil Ruby Debes did just that, which is a fantastic achievement. The children who took part all enjoyed a tea party kindly made by Mrs Ann Stubbs the schools Catering Officer.
