Ambassador School Assembly

On Thursday 26th January, Rose Clarke from the Peak District National Park Authority attended the school to hold an assembly with regard to the school being an Ambassador School.  We  were awarded the recognition of becoming one of only two primary schools to achieve this position of Peak District Ambassador School on the 14th June 2022.

This year we are already planning to undertake further work with the National Park, which will be in unison with  the  current Village Trail. The original trails involved art work from ex pupils of the school, where as the work to be undertaken by present pupils will be around advertising the celebration and looking at the intent of the original trail, how is is being implemented and its impact to both visitors and residents of the village. The work will also involve future projections of what and how the village may evolve within the next ten years.
