The School Council organised a sponsored “Run, Skip & Gallop” around the school playground on Friday 17th May to raise money for one of their charities of choice, the Air Ambulance service.
In the morning, we had an assembly presented by Tracy Jones, of the Air Ambulance, who told the children all about the vital work that the service carries out.
Our Primary Stars coach supervised the children’s sponsored event and we are very proud to announce that a sum of £225 was raised on the day.
In addition to the children’s support of the Air Ambulance service our School Cook, Mrs Katie White, organised a tremendous “Mr Blobby Tractor Run” event involving her local community and raised an amazing amount of £2400.43! What a fantastic achievement!
