MAST & Harvest

MAST attended for collective worship on Friday 29th September and delivered a worship around ‘God’s Wonderful World’ this was in keeping with the work pupils had been producing for the Harvest Festival display in St Giles Church.

The children also helped to pack harvest boxes for the elderly of Hartington community. Surplus donations from local businesses were to be taken to the food bank in Ashbourne. The whole school took part in the Harvest Service taking the lead in prayers, songs and the Harvest meddage on Sunday 1st October where the soil, water, grain and bread were blessed. This was followed by a Harvest supper in the village hall, which everyone enjoyed.
