Hartington Young Peoples Activity Club (HYPAC)

Hartington Young Peoples Activity Club- HYPAC- was the “brain-child” of the current Head Teacher –Mrs Tracy Blackwell and village Parish Councillor Liz Broomead MBE who is now Vice Chair of the School Governors. An “Awards for All” grant was applied for, in 2009, by the school to support the needs of the Children and Community who are rurally isolated from activities which are readily available to young people in Towns and Cities. More than this it is a “vision” to facilitate through, the school, a sustainable, quality experience which provides a pathway from 5 to 25 years and beyond. It is unique, special and a great credit to the School and community which supports it for the benefit of the young people; the newsletter here gives a good picture of what we do and what we aspire to do.
