World Book Day

The school celebrated World Book day by dressing up as their favourite book character. The morning kicked off with children looking at books by the author ‘Julia Donaldson’, discussing their favourite characters and stories. The children in school then joined up with their home learning friends on the Google Platform for a World Book Day Assembly, It was great to see who everyone had become! The day included a host of activities to help develop a love of books and reading with a special ‘Book Day’ lunch ‘sandwiched’ within the day.
