CornerStones

Cornerstones Education

The school hosted an after school event to parents, staff and Governors to introduce them to the proposed scheme of work developed by CornerStones. This was received positively by all who attended and it was felt that the content would underpin the child centered ethos of the school whilst continuing to ensuring British Values and Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural values (SMSC) are thoroughly embedded throughout the curriculum.

Thank you to everyone who came and to Ruth from CornerStones for ensuring the presentation was so accessible.

Mrs T Blackwell quoted: ‘We are all so excited about the content of this curriculum and how it provides all staff the means of networking with other teachers from all over the country without having to leave the school. I am sure that the children will also respond to the diversity and challenge it offers, inspiring them to take their own learning forward.
