At Hartington C of E Primary we are proud of the many ways our pupils engage with the learning opportunities within school and in our wider community.  We have a strong bond with our local village community and run regular luncheons to continue to develop the relationship with our neighbours.

We recently held a Community Lunch to raise funds to support people living with Alzheimer’s.  It was a well attended event and our school choir provided the entertainment!

We also take part in national events each year like Children in Need.

We help each summer to petal the local Well Dressing which is a tradition across Derbyshire that goes back centuries as a way to give thanks for the precious resource of water.
