MAST

Daniel in the Lion's Den by Aaron and Alan Hicks (Unframed Art Print) | The Black Art DepotMr & Mrs Briddon (MAST) visited school today (Friday 4th February) to deliver the much loved puppet show to the children. This was on the Bible story ‘Daniel and the Lions’.

At the end of the assembly Mr and Mrs Briddon presented theThe Lion Book of 1000 Prayers for Children: Amazon.co.uk: Lois Rock: 9780745962313: Books children with a lovely book, called ‘The Lion Book of 1000 Prayers for children’, which they informed us came from the Cornerstones Book store at Matlock,

This book will be used by the children to help them choose appropriate prayers as part of their Collective Worship. After looking at the content class teachers are thinking it will  provide a spring board into the children continuing to write their own prayers. We have already got an older version of this book in the school, but sadly it is getting rather tatty, so the children were pleased and excited to receive this new copy.

One of the pupils in class one was heard to quote ‘Look at the birds and the flowers they are just like the ones we were drawing yesterday in art!’
