On Tuesday 12th December the children of Hartington School presented “Tinsel & Tea-towels” to a packed church. The performance was based around the arrival of Ofsted.
The performance was followed by a Pea & Pie supper in the school, kindly organised by the PTA, where the Christmas raffle was drawn. The winning ticket of a Grand Christmas Hamper, which was drawn by Eileen Wallace who generously donated it was won by Tom Debes a pupil at the school. He said he couldn’t believe how many goodies there were, packed into the boxes.
The PTA would like to thank everyone who donated prizes for the Christmas Raffle.
If you visit St Giles Church please don’t forget to have a look at the children’s work on the Winter World display.
